The figures were announced in the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration’s latest report. Iran’s exports to Taiwan stood at 279,284 tons worth $146.47 million, down 39.56% and 15.64% in tonnage and value respectively year-on-year. Taiwan was Iran’s 12th biggest export destination during the period. Iran mainly exported non-alloy metal, steel, liquefied propane and aluminum to Taiwan during the three-month period. Taiwan exported 35,461 tons of goods worth $87.35 million to Iran, down 30.48% and 28.65% in tonnage and value respectively YOY. Taiwan was the 21st major exporter of goods to Iran over the three months. The imports mainly included fibers and steel products, Financial Tribune reported.
